I find these pry tools are invaluable for dismantling small electronic devices. They are plastic and can't be expected to last forever so it's good to have plenty of spares.

This tool wares out super fast and already wasted five of them and still the iPod Touch faceplate won't budge. The tip of the tool falls apart, disintegrates when trying to move it and prying it along the perimeter of the glass cover. Gave up on this pry tools and ended up using a Xacto knife to open the case. Useless for prying the case open, ok for prying connectors apart where much less force is needed.

I bought this set of safe pry tools to disassemble my Android phone to replace a touch screen digitizer. When it came in the mail I was surprised to find that it was a set of 10 identical tools. Wasn't sure why I would need 10 of the same tool until I started taking my phone apart. I had totally mutilated three of the tools before I even had the outermost cover of the phone off. I took my time and was very careful, but the quality of these tools is just terrible. In the end I spent two hours replacing my digitizer and used up all of my ten tools to get the job done.

Bottom line. 10 tools got the job done on one phone, but now the tools are completely useless.
